Source: COMSATS Attock FAQs: Matric 10%, HSSC 40%, NTS NAT-I 50% (official) · COMSATS Lahore admissions FAQs (official)
COMSATS accepts only NTS or HEC tests and uses your best score if you took the test more than once. The NAT total is assumed to be 100; edit it if your result card shows a different total.
How the COMSATS aggregate is calculated
COMSATS's official FAQs give the bachelor merit as Matric 10%, Intermediate 40%, NTS NAT-I 50%. COMSATS accepts only NTS or HEC tests, and uses your highest score if you took the test more than once. The same formula applies on all CUI campuses.
If you are applying on Matric only (for example for some associate programs), COMSATS uses 50% SSC and 50% NTS; use the custom calculator for that.
Worked example
Matric 1000/1100, FSc 950/1100 and NTS NAT 80/100:
- Matric: 1000 ÷ 1100 × 10 = 9.0909
- FSc: 950 ÷ 1100 × 40 = 34.5455
- NTS NAT: 80 ÷ 100 × 50 = 40.0000
Aggregate = 83.6364%
Each extra NTS NAT point (out of 100) adds about 0.500%; each extra FSc mark (out of 1100) adds 0.036%.
