The engineering formula is from UET Mardan's official page (it says it follows HEC/PEC policy); we could not find UET Peshawar's own page online. ETEA does not publish a total in marks: enter your score and total as shown on your ETEA result card.
How the KMU & ETEA aggregate is calculated
Medical (KMU): Khyber Medical University's eligibility page sets the aggregate as SSC 10%, HSSC 40%, MDCAT 50%, the same as the national PMDC formula. You need a KP or Newly Merged Districts domicile, and the MDCAT pass marks are 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS. MDCAT 2026 is out of 180.
Engineering (ETEA): KP's public engineering universities admit through the ETEA engineering test. UET Mardan's official admission page sets merit as SSC 10%, HSSC 50%, entrance test 40%. ETEA's 2026 engineering test had 100 MCQs with no negative marking; enter your score and total exactly as your ETEA result shows.

Worked example
MBBS / BDS
Matric 1000/1100, FSc 950/1100 and MDCAT 144/180:
- Matric: 1000 ÷ 1100 × 10 = 9.0909
- FSc: 950 ÷ 1100 × 40 = 34.5455
- MDCAT: 144 ÷ 180 × 50 = 40.0000
Aggregate = 83.6364%
Each extra MDCAT point (out of 180) adds about 0.278%; each extra FSc mark (out of 1100) adds 0.036%.
Engineering
Matric 1000/1100, FSc 950/1100 and ETEA engineering test 80/100:
- Matric: 1000 ÷ 1100 × 10 = 9.0909
- FSc: 950 ÷ 1100 × 50 = 43.1818
- ETEA engineering test: 80 ÷ 100 × 40 = 32.0000
Aggregate = 84.2727%
Each extra ETEA engineering test point (out of 100) adds about 0.400%; each extra FSc mark (out of 1100) adds 0.045%.
