Updated 4 November 2026
Source: PIEAS admissions FAQs: 0.60 × test percentile + 0.25 × HSSC Part-I + 0.15 × SSC (official)
PIEAS ranks the test by percentile, not marks. Enter the percentile printed on your result (out of 100). If you took more than one test, PIEAS uses the best percentile.
How the PIEAS aggregate is calculated
PIEAS's official FAQs give the formula as 0.60 × test percentile + 0.25 × HSSC Part-I % + 0.15 × SSC %. The test part is your percentile (your rank among candidates, out of 100), not your raw marks, so enter the percentile from your result. If you took more than one test, PIEAS uses the best one.
Worked example
Matric 1000/1100, FSc Part-I 475/550 and PIEAS test percentile 80/100:
- Matric: 1000 ÷ 1100 × 15 = 13.6364
- FSc: 475 ÷ 550 × 25 = 21.5909
- PIEAS test percentile: 80 ÷ 100 × 60 = 48.0000
Aggregate = 83.2273%
Each extra PIEAS test percentile point (out of 100) adds about 0.600%; each extra FSc mark (out of 550) adds 0.045%.
